Thanks for visiting the Spoon Carving Directory! As you can see, the directory is very much a work in progress. I’ve sat on the idea of creating a link site for spoon carving for years, but I either procrastinated or let perfectionism get the best of me. So, I finally decided to heed the “make it exist first, and make it better later” mantra and just put the Spoon Carving Directory out there for everyone to see. Hopefully, the SCD will help carvers find the resources they need quickly so that they will be able to spend more time actually carving spoons.
My immediate goals for the site are to implement a site wide search feature and to improve the directory taxonomy. Of course, I need everyone’s help to improve the site as I’m bound to miss something. So if you have the time, please send your favorite links and SCD improvement suggestions through the contact page.
