Thanks for visiting the Spoon Carving Directory! As you can see, the directory is very much a work in progress. I’ve sat on the idea of creating a link site for spoon carving for years, but I either procrastinated or let perfectionism get the best of me. Finally, I decided to heed the “make it exist first, and make it better later” mantra and publish the Spoon Carving Directory for everyone to see. Hopefully, the SCD will help carvers quickly find the resources they need, allowing them to spend more time actually carving spoons.
My immediate goals for the site are to implement a site-wide search feature and to improve the directory taxonomy. Of course, I need everyone’s help to improve the site as I’m bound to miss something. So if you have the time, please send your favorite links and SCD improvement suggestions through the contact page.
